From Sonairte
In autumn 2009 Sonairte will be offering two free courses, one in Heritage and Biodiversity on the Meath Coast and one in Community Management of Biodiversity on the Meath Coast. Those wishing to do the second course will normally be expected to have completed the first.
These courses are being funded by Meath Community Partnership under the Community Hardship Scheme.
Sonairte is currently seeking a course director and course tutors for both these courses. Those who are interested in participating in the courses can also register an interest now.
The courses are designed to appeal to individuals who are already involved in community groups with an interest in local heritage and biodiversity, or who are interested in habitat restoration projects. They will also be of interest to those involved in setting up school biodiversity projects or in the management of sites of biodiversity or heritage interest on their own property, or who are interested in pursuing a career in this area.
To obtain more details and job description or to register an interest in taking part in one or both of the courses please contact kathy.marsh@sonairte.org
